The March is over, but we can't stop now. The fight for LGBT equality has just begun! Come join the impact and help plan our next steps for lgbt organizing in Boston!
More than 250 activists from around Boston participated in the historic National Equality March (NEM) on Washington October 10th and 11th demanding full equal rights for LGBT people under all matters of civil law. Some of us have been activists for decades while others have just recently been inspired to get involved. Whether you went to the march or not, you don't want to miss out on the discussion of next steps for building a civil rights movement in our city. Hear activists share their experience from the demonstration, find out about the work that is currently being organized by various groups in the region to expand and protect LGBT rights, and bring your ideas to the table. The success of achieveing full equal rights under all matters of civil law will depend on our input and activity in the months and years to come. Even if you didn't attend the march, you have something to contribute to the discussion.
