Help Plan a Week of Direct Action for LGBT Equality

Open Invitation for Citywide Planning Meeting
Saturday, April 17th @ 6:00 pm
Democracy Center – 45 Mt Auburn St in Harvard Square

Hi folks,

Thanks again to those of you that came to the Northeast Regional LGBTQ Conference in March!  It was inspiring to finally have so many people in the room together talking about the issues that face our community & starting to plan ways to take action.

On Sunday of the Conference, many people expressed interest in working together to plan a full week of direct actions for LGBTQ Equality here in Boston from May 17-22.  This week would start on International Day Against Homophobia and end on Harvey Milk’s Birthday.

It is important that this week of direct action reflects the voices and concerns of all members of the LGBTQ community here in Boston.  Therefore, we want to invite you to help plan the event

There will be a citywide planning meeting on April 17th at 6:00 pm in the Democracy Center on 45 Mt Auburn St in Harvard Square.  During this meeting, we hope to work as a full community to organize actions to take place in all different neighborhoods around Boston around a variety of issues affecting the LGBTQ community.  Please bring your input and your friends.
